Who knew mail could be so yummy.....

My favorite snacks!

Love that these are NON GMO, YES!
Today is the day people....my KIND bars arrived today! I seriously am in love with these all natural "granola" bars. I can't say enough about these amazing bars, they are the best snack I have found in a long time, and they're gluten free! let's break it down the basics, these bars are all natural, non gmo, gluten free, wheat free, and full of protein. The tastes range from pomegranate blueberry pistachio, to fruit and nut, with added antioxidants you can't go wrong. I will say that these tasty treats are a bit on the pricey side, but isn't your health worth it? Aren't you worth a couple extra dollars, especially when you know what you are putting in your body is all natural? I know I'm worth it, you can find these bars on Amazon.com and I tend to buy 2 -12 packs at a time, that way I don't run out! lol I know I might be a little obsessed, just a little...I wanted to mention as well, which is completely off topic, if you are looking for a support network, recipes, or just a pal you can check out glutenfreenetworks.com. Great place to meet fellow gluten freers! Feel free to comment and leave me any ideas or anything you would like for me to discuss, I'm thinking of doing youtube videos.....anyone interested in that?? It's still in the thinking process....

A night with Twenty2

It's Wednesday and I think we need to jump right into the topic of the night, vodka! Not just any vodka, Twenty2 vodka! This alcohol is made right here in Houlton, Maine, the middle of northern Maine...back woods really to some. It's a diamond in the rough, perhaps on the expensive side, a mere $26ish but does that matter??  Okay, maybe it's just my favorite but either way you need to get some! It's gluten free too! So let's talk about mixers....I have only 2...cranberry juice and Pink lemonade, and no you crazies, you don't mix them together..ewww...well....no. As you all know, us gluten freers need to be extra careful about what we ingest, so be sure your mixer is gf and you're golden! My all time favorite summer mixed drink is Twenty2 and pink lemonade with a lemon on the side. There is nothing like relaxing in the sunshine with a refreshing beverage, and my friend is the producer of the vodka! (did I fail to mention that??) Get out there and be social GFers! There's twenty2 just waiting for you to try it!

Honey...get me a beer??

I realize this is post #3 today, and I guess I have ALOT to say haha I think we need to discuss one of my favorite beverages, beer. Now for years I was a religious Bud Light drinker, and no that's not a plug it just was my favorite. I also enjoyed all of Sea Dog Brewing companies beers, all of them lol if you're not sure what this is I suggest you google it. Sea Dog is an amazing brewery/restaurant/bar located in Bangor, Maine, and one of my favorite places to eat and drink, or atleast it used to be. Now that I'm gluten free, I can't drink there, or eat there for that matter, or atleast I haven't looked into a gluten free menu there. Alot of places don't have a gluten free menu, let alone gluten free beer and we'll discuss the restaurant issue soon, very soon I promise. Well, thankfully stores now carry gluten free beer, in my area the only one is Redbridge. I must say it is fabulous, made by Anheuser-Busch this gluten free beer tastes just like Bud Light, again not a plug. So the next time your friend says " hey, let's get together for beers?" you can say,' YES! that's a great idea, My place?" because you KNOW there's a great beer out there just waiting for you to drink it up! In my next post we shall discuss my favorite mixed drink, and the only one I've dared drink thus far lol  So go forth people, and be social again!! See you soon peeps <3  xo
